The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation sent to the second respondent on 19.05.2014 for issuing 'Legal Heir Certificate' after considering all the relevant documents, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue involved, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of the petitioner dated 19.05.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This order should not be construed as giving any positive direction to the respondents and the respondents shall pass orders, independently, depending on the facts and circumstances of the case.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
