ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 15.02.2021, wherein the petitioner has sought for carrying out certain corrections in the patta issued by the fourth respondent.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was purchased by his father and the same was settled in favour of the 1/3
petitioner in the year 2019. The document was also registered as Document No.5644 of 2019.
3. The petitioner thereafter applied for change of patta in his name from the name of his father. The fourth respondent also issued a patta. The petitioner came to know that the extent of the property has been wrongly mentioned in the patta and that apart, the patta also did not include certain properties. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the fourth respondent on 15.02.2021, requesting for correcting the mistake and to issue a fresh patta in the name of the petitioner. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
4. Heard Mr.S.M.A.Jinnah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 15.02.2021 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the fourth respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.
