PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the 3rd & 4th Respondents to investigate the matter and file final report in FIR in Crime No.5 of 2015 dated 11.09.2015 within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The defacto complainant is interested in quick investigation of the case. So, he seeks a direction to that effect under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

2.The defacto complainant wants to expose certain misdeeds of elected President and certain staff of a Panchayat. He alleged that they have swallowed Panchayat money, which is public money. A case in Crime No.5 of 2015 has been registered. It is being investigated by 4th respondent, namely, Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Virudhunagar.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the investigation officer is just sleeping over the F.I.R. He has to be goaded to do the investigation and complete it early.

4.The Court has to consider the volume of work involved. It is not a simple hurt case. Statement of number of witnesses have to be recorded and documents have to be collected from various offices and to find out whether any offence appears to have been committed.

5.In the facts and circumstances, ordered as under:

(1) The 4th respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Virudhunagar District at Virudhunagar is directed to conduct his investigation in Crime No.5 of 2015 expeditiously, preferably within 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file the final report according to law before the concerned Court.
