Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to investigate and register a case of land grabbing against 4th respondent and his family and further direct the 1st respondent to recover the land and properties belonging to the village people based on the representation made by petitioner to the respondents herein on 22.02.2021.

2.Heard Mr.M.Maharajan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Baskaran, learned Standing Counsel for Government appearing for R1 to R3.

W.P.[MD]No.10803 of 2021 3.After we have made it clear that the prayer sought for in the writ petition cannot be granted, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the endeavour of the petitioner is to bring to light certain illegalities committed in the revenue records and therefore, seeks for liberty to file a fresh writ petition for a suitable relief.

4.In the light of the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Court for a suitable relief. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
