O R D E R

The relief sought for in the writ petition is to quash the order dated 17.06.2021 and revise the Tahsildar panel dated 19.05.2021.

2. The order impugned dated 17.06.2021 is a notification issued publishing the approved list of Tahsildars for Tuticorin District for the year 2020. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that in the approved list, her name was not considered, though she is senior to the contesting respondents. The seniority of the writ petitioner was considered based on her option for mutual transfer, which was granted to Tuticorin District. In other words, the petitioner was transferred on mutual grounds to Tuticorin District from Kanyakumari District, which resulted in loss of seniority as considered in W.P.(MD) No.9977 of 2021.

3. In view of the fact that the notification is the approved list of Tahsildar and the seniority of the petitioner has been decided in the abovesaid writ petition, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
