PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.720 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1 herein was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.07.2020 for the alleged offences under Sections 341,342,352,364(A), 506(ii) of IPC.

2. There are totally 10 accused in this case. The petitioner herein is arrayed as A1. The allegation against the petitioner is that inorder collect ransom, the petitioner herein along with other accused persons abducted the defacto complainant and demanded money from him and when the police traced the place the accused persons left the defacto complainant and ran away from the scene of occurrence. Sofar as this petitioner is concerned he is stated to called the defacto complainant's wife over phone and demanded ransom.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the above case. The petitioner herein only made a ransom call to the defacto complainant's friend. He would submit that the petitioner is in jail for nearly 35 days, hence he may be granted bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner herein along with other accused persons abducted the defacto complainant and demanded money from him.

5. Taking into consideration the nature and gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
