ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner and her family members in connection with Crime No.157 of 2021 on the file of the third respondent police under the guise of enquiry. 2.The case of the petitioner is that her husband was arrayed as an accused in Crime No.157 of 2021 for the offence under Sections 8 (c), 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act and he has also filed an anticipatory bail application before this Court. Pending application, the petitioner has been harassed by the respondent police under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking aforesaid relief.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.8135 of 2021 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submitted that since the husband of the petitioner was absconding, the respondent police are searching him and except to know whereabouts the husband of the petitioner, no harassment made out to the petitioner and the respondent police did not enter into the house of the petitioner. 4.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as no more direction is required. If any trouble arises, it is always open to the petitioner to approach this Court for appropriate remedy.
