PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose and pass an order on his proceedings of COLREV - COLR - 7122/2025/B6 dated 28.02.2025 initiated on the petitioner's UDR Correction representation dated 03.02.2025 with regard to their family property bearing Survey No. 8 with an extent of 0-1.36.0 Ares situated at Ward P Block No. 27 Dharanallur, Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli East Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER
The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the pending revision before the District Revenue Officer, dated 03.02.2025.
2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that during UDR scheme, the respondents have wrongly included their names in the patta and the same has been challenged by the petitioner before the second respondent. The petitioner has given a representation for necessary UDR correction to be carried out vide representation dated 03.02.2025. Even according to the petitioner, the second respondent has already taken up the enquiry and has issued communication on 28.02.2025.
5. In view of the above, it would suffice to direct the second respondent to conclude the enquiry expeditiously, after hearing the petitioner as well as the private respondents 5 to 7 and preferably, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
