PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb as claimed in representation dated 13.8.2020 on the file of the second respondent police.

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, by considering his representation, dated 13.8.2020. 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner, dated 13.08.2020, has been received by the second respondent and based on which enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.300 of 2020, and during enquiry if it is found protection is required, suitable action will be taken.
