The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 29(1) and 25 of NDPS Act, in Crime No.124 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the Additional Public Prosecutor brought to the notice of this Court that already the petitioner approached this Court by way of filing Crl.OP(MD)No.14533 of 2025 seeking anticipatory bail and this Court, by the order dated 03.09.2025, directed the petitioner to surrender and file a bail application before the learned 1st Additional District Judge for NDPS, Madurai, and also directed the 1st Additional District Judge for NDPS, Madurai, to consider the bail application in accordance with law on merits on the same date. The said order has not been complied with by the petitioner and now, Non-bailable warrant has been issued against him.

3. Once this Court passes the order, it is the duty of the petitioner to comply with the same. Since the petitioner has not complied with the 2/4

order passed by this Court dated 03.09.2025, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 01.04.2026 dss To 1.The 1st Additional District Judge for NDPS Cases, Madurai. 2.The Inspector of Police, Kottar Police Station, Kanniyakumari District.
