The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct Panguni Uthiram Festival, scheduled on 11.04.2025 at Arulmigu Villiyar Temple, Puluthipatti village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, without interference of the fifth respondent, who claims to be the Hereditary Trustee.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondent 1 to 3, by circulating a written communication dated 19.03.2025, submitted that four officers have been nominated to assist the fifth respondent in conducting the Panguni Uthiram Festival, scheduled on 11.04.2025.
4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
