(Order of this Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) The Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to direct the Director of School Education, Chennai, the respondent herein, to entertain and dispose of the appeals from terminated teachers of aided minority schools till the new comprehensive Act comes into force.

2.Heard the petitioner (party in person) as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. 3.It is seen that the petitioner has not specifically stated what are the appeals pending, who are all the terminated teachers preferred appeals and the details of the pending appeals such as number and date of the appeals preferred. Hence, without furnishing any details, the petitioner is simply asking the relief in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to direct the Director of School Education, the respondent herein to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ dispose of the appeals from terminated teachers of aided minority

school. Hence, we are of the view that such a vague prayer is not sufficient to maintain the Writ petition.

4.In the result, the Writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. No costs.
