ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to secure and produce the petitioner's wife, namely Kavitha and their daughters, namely Karthika and Akshaya, before this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner is the husband of the detenu, namely, Kavitha, aged about 37 years. The petitioner's wife, along with two minor children, had been missing from 27.12.2025. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint, and on receipt of the same, the second respondent registered an F.I.R. in Crime No.108 of 2025 under woman and girl missing.

4.During the course of investigation, the second respondent secured the detenu along with the two minor children from Pollachi and produced them before this Court.

5.The detenu appeared before this Court and deposed that she is ready and willing to go with her husband, namely, the petitioner. She further stated that, owing to a misunderstanding between herself and the petitioner, she had gone to Pollachi on her own volition.

6.In view of the above facts and circumstances, no further adjudication is required in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of. [G.K.I.J.,] & [K.R.S.J.,] 13.05.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No ps 4/6
