ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1, 2 and 5, the learned counsel for the respondents 3 and 4 and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the sixth respondent.
2.The petitioner challenges the impugned peace committee proceedings. I have been consistently holding that such proceedings are not amenable to challenge.
3.It is seen that O.As have been filed before the first respondent with regard conferment of first honour. Till the issues are decided, the question of conferring first honour on any body does not arise at all. I specifically direct that no first honour will be conferred on any person. The temple festival shall be conducted as per the customary rights.
4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
