Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks alteration of date of birth in the service register. The appeal is presently pending on the file of the first respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be reaching the age of superannuation by 15.07.2024. The first respondent is therefore called upon to give a disposal to the petition mentioned appeal as expeditiously as possible. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
