O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent Police to conduct the proper enquiry and to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.04.2022.

2. The case of the petitioner is that on 17.04.2022 at about 11.00 A.M., some private parties trespassed into the petitioner's land and scolded her by using filthy language. Thereafter, the said private parties cut the neem trees of the petitioner herein and threatened her. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent Police on 18.04.2022. But no action has been taken by the second respondent till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner to take appropriate action on the complaint given by her.

3. Though the petitioner seeks larger relief, at the time of arguments the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the complaint of the petitioner dated 18.04.2022, is disposed of by the second respondent, on merits, as expeditiously as possible. 2/4

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents on instructions would submit that the enquiry has been conducted and closed and the same was referred as "Mistake of fact" on 21.05.2022.

5. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the same stands closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
