Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2020 sent with regard to the issuance of patta to the petitioner's house situated in Door No.1/175, Aadi Dravidar Colony, Muthulingapuram, Vilampatti Panchayat, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2020 with regard to the issuance of patta to the petitioner's house situated in Door No.1/175, Aadi Dravidar Colony, Muthulingapuram, Vilampatti Panchayat, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District. 2.By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, earlier the Government has accorded lands to the landless Aadi Dravidar people and accordingly, a land has been allotted to him and he put up construction. Seeking issuance of patta to his house, the petitioner sent a representation dated 06.07.2020 to the respondents. Since no action has been taken on the side of the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.10025 of 2020 dated 06.07.2020, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.In the light of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.07.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
