Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the 1st responded to dispose of the appeal pending in Na.Ka.no.Va.Ni. 5(4)/17486/2024 filed by the petitioner under section 18 of Arm act r/w 105 of Arms Rule 2016 within the stipulated period as fixed by this Honble court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal pending in Na.Ka.no.Va.Ni. 5(4)/17486/2024 filed by the petitioner under section 18 of Arm act r/w 105 of Arms Rule 2016

2. Heard M/s.Ulagammal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Ramesh Arumugan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. Since the appeal is said to be pending, the writ petition is ordered on the following terms:- i. The appeal filed by the petitioner in Na.Ka.no.Va.Ni. 5(4)/17486/2024 shall be disposed of by the 1st respondent within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy of the order. ii. No costs.
