PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court, to issue a direction directing the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 25.01.2023. ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners' life and limb by considering the representation, dated 25.01.2023. 2.The petitioners are seeking police protection with respect to the property located in S.No.325/3 at Ramaiyanpatti Village, Tirunelveli Taluk, Tirunelveli District. One Palaraman has been impleaded as fifth respondent in this case and stated to be neighbour on the eastern side of the property. 3.The learned counsel for the fifth respondent stated that he has no objection to measure the petition mentioned property. He is not making 2/5

any encroachment on the eastern side of the property. 4.Let a survey be undertaken on the steps to be taken by the petitioner by the Taluk Surveyor attached to Manoor Taluk office, Tirunelveli District in the petition mentioned property. The above said survey to be undertaken in the presence of petitioners as well as the fifth respondent by following Section 10 of Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act. Notice must be issued to both of them. During the course of survey, if any trouble arises, representation should be made by the petitioners to the second respondent and on that ground, the second respondent may consider the same by summoning the petitioners and the fifth respondent. The entire process should be completed within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
