ORDER

When the matter came up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. However, learned counsel for the second respondent produced a copy of the award passed in the Lok Adalat held at Karur on 06.08.2015 and in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the petitioner was directed to pay a sum of Rs.75,000/- as one time settlement.

2.Learned counsel for the respondent bank submitted that the said payment has already been received by the Bank and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter.

3.In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
