Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to release Rs.5,00,000/-(Rupees Five Lakhs Only) as part withdrawal from the petitioner's Provident Fund Account No.10850 maintained by the respondent Corporation to meet out the marriage expenditure to the petitioner's daughter at the earliest.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to release Rs.5,00,000/-(Rupees Five Lakhs Only) as part withdrawal from the petitioner's Provident Fund Account No.10850 maintained by the respondent Corporation to meet out the marriage expenditure for the petitioner's daughter at the earliest.

2. Mr.J.Senthilkumaraiah, learned standing counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is entitled only for Rs.3,30,000/- and not Rs.5,00,000/- as claimed in the writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, is agreeable to receive the said amount as part payment.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.3,30,000/-(Rupees Three Lakhs and Thirty Thousand Only) towards part payment of Provident Fund amount, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
