..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents not to permit public meetings at the above said Mani Koondu Main Road, Near Cathedral Church, Dindigul, which affects the exercise of religious freedom by the Catholic Community, as guaranteed under Article 25(1) of the Constitution of India.

ORDER
The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents not to permit public meetings at the above said Mani Koondu, Main Road, Near Cathedral Church, Dindigul.
2. Heard Mr.G.Anwar Saleem, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Muthukarupaan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice that if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 10.03.2014 and 11.03.2014.
4.In view of the above submission this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 10.03.2014 and 11.03.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing necessary opportunity to all the necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
