O R D E R
This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the first respondent to forbear the third respondent to conduct 'Valli Thirumana drama' on the 6th day (07.04.2025) of the temple 'Thiruvizha' scheduled from 02.04.2025 to 11.04.2025 at 'Uruvatti Shri Periyanayaki Amman Temple', Kalayarkovil, Sivagangai, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 02.04.2025, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, the third respondent group belongs to dominant community in the aforesaid village, refused to collect 'thp' from the petitioner's group i.e., Devandrakula Vellalar, for the aforesaid temple festival and they also excluded the petitioner's group from 2/5
participating the said temple festival. In this regard, the petitioner has sent representation on 02.04.2025 to the respondents and the same has not been considered so far. Therefore, the present petition.
3. The learned Additional Advocate General reports that upon receiving the representation of the petitioner, enquiry was conducted by convening Peace Committee Meeting, in which, all interested parties have participated and they also agreed to conduct the aforesaid temple festival in a peaceful manner. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.
4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and in view of the decision taken in the Peace Committee Meeting, recording the submission of the learned Additional Advocate General, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
