The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnors for violating the order passed by this Court dated 08.02.2023 in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.1438 of 2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the jurisdictional police has laid the final report on 20.07.2023 before the concerned Court, but the same was returned and that thereafter, the jurisdictional police has rectified the defects pointed out by the Judicial Magistrate and filed the same on 21.09.2023 and subsequently, the case was taken on file in C.C.No.373 of 2023 on 26.09.2023 and the same is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Karaikudi.
