: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2014.

Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. According to the petitioner, after the demise of her husband, she has been in possession and enjoyment of the property in Old Survey No.4/2, New Survey Nos.139/2 and 139/21, situated at Pannaithiruthi, Pattamangalam, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District. Seeking patta in respect of the above said property, the petitioner submitted a representation, on 15.12.2014, before the third respondent. Since no action is taken, the petitioner is now before this Court with the present Writ Petition.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the

matter, a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.12.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
