O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.99 of 2020 on the file of the respondent in accordance with law within stipulated time.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the case has been registered in the month of May 2020, no steps have been taken by the Enquiry Officer, till now, to complete the investigation and file a final report.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No.99 of 2020 is almost completed and prayed three months time to file a final report, since the accused persons had obtained interim Anticipatory Bail before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

5. In view of the above submission, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
