ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to direct the learned Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases, Tirunelveli, to proceed the case expeditiously in C.C.No.221 of 2020 and dispose the case within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that because of the pendency of the Non Bailable Warrant against the eighth accused, the trial process could not be completed.

3. Considering the oldness of the crime, there shall be direction to the Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases, Tirunelveli, to complete the trial process in C.C.No.221 of 2020 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If any necessity arises, the learned Special Judge for Land Grabbing Cases, Tirunelveli, may split up the case against the person, against whom the warrant is pending. 2/4

4. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
