ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to conduct the proper investigation and file a final report in Crime No.2618 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, S.S.Colony Police Station, Madurai.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in the aforesaid case and he is working as a Branch Manager in IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance Company Ltd. One Rajkumar, who worked as a Senior Executive in the aforesaid company, has fabricated the insurance policy documents and cheated, not only the petitioner's company but also the customers. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.8152 of 2021 registered and so far no recovery has been made. Even though the anticipatory bail application filed by the accused was dismissed by this Court twice, there was no progress in the investigation. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that since the accused was absconding, the respondents are not in a position to recover the misappropriated amount. However, he prays three months time to file a final report.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.
5. In view of the above submission, the second respondent police is directed to conclude the investigation and file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
