PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to issue direction to expedite the trial in O.S.No. 554 of 2022 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Tiruchirappalli and to complete the same within a stipulate period as framed by this Court. ORDER
There is no merit in the present Civil Revision Petition as the petitioner is the defendant in O.S.No.544 of 2022. The petitioner is yet to file a written statement. If the trial has to be expedited, the petitioner will have to be set ex-parte. The petitioner appears to have filed an application under Order 7 Rule 11 of C.P.C., to reject the plaint. The 1/3
petitioner can press for disposal of an application under Order 7 Rule 11 of C.P.C., to reject the plaint.
2. Considering the above, I direct the petitioner to file a written statement and also liberty is given to the petitioner to file appropriate application for direction to the Court to dispose of the petitioner's application under Order 7 Rule 11 of C.P.C.
3. The present Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed with the above observations. No costs.
