: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to permit the petitioner to participate the tender to be held on 11.03.2015 for Weekly Market at Nilakottai, Dindigul District, consequently directing the second respondent to announce the highest bidder for the above Weekly Market Tender on the same day at Nilakottai, Dindigul District.

Mr.S.Satheeshkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.A.K.Baskarapandian, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the second respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. The only apprehension of the petitioner is that even though the petitioner is ready and willing to participate in the tender, due to political intervention, the authorities concerned will not permit him to participate in the tender to be held on 11.03.2015 for Weekly Market at Nilakottai, Dindigul District and therefore, he has come forward to file the present Writ Petition for the relief stated earlier.
3. According to the learned Special Government Pleader, the authorities concerned or any other person will not prevent the petitioner to participate in the tender and they have no objection to allow the petitioner to participate in the tender and they will also provide necessary protection.

4. In view of the said submission made and taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner is willing to participate in the tender
process, the authorities concerned will give necessary help and assistance for the petitioner to participate in the tender. It is made clear that the petitioner, at any cost, will not withdraw from participating in the tender under the guise of some other deal. It is also made clear that if the petitioner fails to participate in the tender, cost will be imposed.
