Mr.S.M.S.Johnny Basha, learned standing counsel, takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his application dated 06.06.2018 seeking electricity service connection, has not been considered by the respondent till date and therefore, he has filed the present writ petition.

4. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent - Electricity Board submits that the respondent has not received any such application from the petitioner.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent - Electricity Board, the petitioner is granted liberty to give a fresh application to the respondent and on receipt of such application, the respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and take further action in accordance with law. Such an exercise shall be done after giving due opportunity to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner as well as to the persons who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such application.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
