ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.220 of 2010 on his file within a time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the charge sheet filed by the respondent Police, on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, has been taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi, in C.C.No.220 of 2010 as early as on 18.12.2012, the trial has not yet commenced. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that already PWs.1 to 4 have been examined and that the case is now adjourned to 24.06.2016 for examination of PWs.5 to 11.

5.In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi, to complete the trial in C.C.No.220 of 2010 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
