ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Sreeja, aged about 26 years went missing from 01.05.2022 and that police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

2. Today, Mr.S.Mohandas, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Thuckalay Police Station, is present. Sreeja was produced before this Court by the police.

3. When we enquired her, she stated that her date of birth is 27.09.1996; that she has studied M.Com.; that she fell in love with one Tamilmani and got married to him on 02.05.2022 and that she is not in the illegal custody of anyone. H.C.P.(MD)No.767 of 2022 before this Court. In such view of the matter, it cannot be stated that Sreeja is in the illegal custody of the respondents for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
