Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 to 8 to forbear the ninth respondent from taking sand in the river bed instead of Savadu Soil and quarrying beyond the licensed area allowed as per the mining lease issued by the fourth respondent in S.Nos.160/1, 160/2A and 160/2B to the extent of 4.78.5 Hectare at Orivayal village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and cancel the lease proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1307/G&M.2/2012 dated 22.04.2013 issued by the fourth respondent in favour of the ninth respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.
