COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused No.6 and 7, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under

Sections 498(A), 354(A), 406, 506(i) IPC, in Crime No.21 of 2022, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 15.11.2015 marriage was solemnized between the first accused and the defacto complainant. At the time of marriage, the parents of the defacto complainant has given 40 sovereigns of gold jewelery as sridhana. Thereafter, they were living in the first accused's house. In the meantime. the first accused has developed relationship with the sixth accused/first petitioner herein. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocents and not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioners are daughter and father. Hence, prays to release them on anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that as per prosecution, the sixth accused had developed relationship with the first accused and the seventh accused is her father.

5.Perusal of records shows that the connected matter in Crl.OP (MD)No.10859 of 2022 was referred to Mediation for amicable settlement between the husband and wife, ie., the first accused and the defacto complainant. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the overt act attributed against the petitioners and the nature of dispute and relationship between the parties, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 6.Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or their appearance, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 am until further orders. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

7.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petitions for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
