ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and 353 IPC and 20(b)(ii)(B) and 8(c) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.98 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 6 kgs. of ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that apart from this case, the petitioner is having ten previous cases, out of which, two cases are similar in nature.

5. Considering the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner and also considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
