The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct Aadal Padal cultural program in Veppankudi West Arulmighu Venkatachalapathy Perumal Temple, Keeramangalam Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukottai District, on 17.04.2023 at about 7.00 PM onwards and to provide adequate police protection.

2.Mr.R.Sureshkumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents.

3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder took place in such a type of event in Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
