Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent, to dispose of his appeal petition dated 24.08.2013.

4. It appears that the petitioner is having a grievance that his juniors were drawing more pay and therefore he is seeking pay parity. It is for the first respondent, to consider such grievance and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.

Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits and the claim made by the petitioner, I only direct the first respondent, to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 24.08.2013 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
