Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2014 based on the Birth Certificate submitted by the Petitioner and consequently to direct the respondent to issue Passport to the Petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2014 based on the Birth Certificate submitted by the Petitioner and consequently to direct the respondent to issue Passport to the Petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available in the typed-set of papers. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner for issuance of passport is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.11.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
