Heard Mrs.A.Charumathi, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
2.The petitioner has sought for the relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct survey based on the petitioner's application, dated 20.02.2025.
3.Considering the limited relief as sought for by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to measure the petitioner's property based on the petitioner's survey application, dated 20.02.2025 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any objections from neighbours, the same shall also be heard and decided by the first respondent before proceeding to survey. It is also open to the first respondent to seek assistance of the jurisdictional 2/4
police officials to prevent any breach of law and order problem. No costs.
