ORDER

The petitioner filed W.P(MD)No.20186 of 2021 for a Mandamus to consider his representation and to take necessary action on the unauthorized construction made by the 2nd respondent herein. By order dated 25.03.2024, this Court

directed the 1st respondent to take necessary action for removal of the deviated portion of the building in question in accordance with law after providing due opportunity to the parties concerned within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Alleging disobedience of the said order, the writ petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

The learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent would submit that as per the order of this Court, the Corporation has locked the building premises in question.

Recording the said submission, the Contempt Petition is closed for the present. The 1st respondent is directed to complete the proceedings within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, Sub Application is closed.
