O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 19.07.2019 against the 3rd and 4th respondents.

2.According to the petitioner, the respondents 3 and 4 are running a Chit Fund Company and the petitioner has also deposited in the Chit Fund Company to the tune of Rs.16,97,500/- After completion of chit period, the 3rd respondent failed to return back the amount and stating that his daughter is going to get married, therefore, requested some time to return back the said amount. Therefore, the petitioner sent a complaint dated 19.07.2019 before the respondent police, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has not sent any representation to the respondent police. Per contra, the petitioner has sent representations to the District Collector and the Director General of Police in the year 2019. No complaint is pending with the respondent 2/5

police. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass orders.

5.The complaint lodged by the petitioner in the year 2017 and the representation lodged in the year 2019 were not pending with the respondent police. Therefore, it is not appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner. However, the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh representation to the respondent police, if she has any grievance and if any such representation is received by the respondent police, they can consider the same and take appropriate act in accordance with law.

6.With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
