The petitioner is an accused in Crime.No. 523 of 2010, on the file of the respondent police has filed this Criminal Original Petition to quash the the above crime number, which is pending as against him. 2.Today(01.07.2024), when this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that the investigation in this case has already been completed and the final report has also been filed and the same was taken on file in CC No.412 of 2024, by the learned Judicial Magistrate Court VI, Trichy.
3.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, if he is having any grounds. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
