Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission and protection in pursuance to the 2 days temple festival 2018 of Arulmigu Shri Kathavarayan, Shri Kamatchiamman Kovil, situated at Mangudi Village, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District for the "Gramiya Karagattam" on 12.07.2018 at 9.00 p.m., and Valli Thirumanam Nadagam on 13.07.2018 at 10.00p.m.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event, namely, "Gramiya Karagattam"and Valli Thirumanam Nadagam scheduled to be held on 12.07.2018 at about 9.00 p.m., and 13.07.2018 at about 10.00 p.m., in connection with the temple festival of Arulmigu Shri Kathavarayan, Shri Kamatchiamman Kovil, situated at Mangudi Village, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the representation of the petitioner dated 06.07.2018 is directed to be considered and an order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that if the said representation is pending with the respondents, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
5.Considering the said circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 11.07.2018.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
