Common Respondent COMMON Prayer: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' representation dated 17.10.2014 made in regard to extend the benefits granted in G.O.Ms.No.100, School Education Department dated 13.04.2010 to the petitioners within the time limit the may be stipulated by this Court. For Petitioners : Mr.G.Thalaimutharasu in both cased For Respondent : Mr.V.Muruganandam Addl. Govt. Pleader ( in both cases) C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners have come forward with these writ petitions, seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the their representation dated 17.10.2014 made in regard to extend the benefits granted in G.O.Ms.No.100, School Education Department dated 13.04.2010 to the petitioners.
2. The case of the petitioners is that pursuant to the liberty granted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (CC) No.14300-14303 of 2014, they made a representation to the respondent on 17.10.2014 to extend the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.100, School Education Department dated 13.04.2014, as the same was given to similarly placed persons. Learned counsel for the petitioners would make a plea that if the representations of the petitioners dated 17.10.2014 are disposed of, the grievance of the petitioners would be redressed.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent, without adverting into the merits of the case, is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 17.10.2014 on merits
and in accordance with law and after affording an opportunity of hearing to them, pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
