O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the petitioner's complaint dated 01.04.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that already based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, they assigned C.S.R.No.61 of 2024 and the same was closed and thereafter, the petitioner lodged a fresh complaint and the same is pending in C.S.R.No.40 of 2025. They will conduct enquiry and dispose of the same in accordance with law.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondents no.3 and 4 inclined to pass orders in this petition.

4. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation for police protection through complaint dated 01.04.2025, but the same has not been considered. The 2nd respondent also admitted the receipt of the complaint and assigned C.S.R.No.40 of 2025. Therefore, this Court directs the 2nd Page No. 2 of 4

respondent to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to both the parties within a period of fifteen days [15] from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
