the respondent herein as against the accused within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the complaint was given on 08.08.2014, even after the completion of 9 years, the respondent police has not filed a final report and prayed a direction to the respondent police by fixing a date for filing final report.

3. On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that the case was transferred to Omachikulam police station to Tallakulam police station, hence, there is a delay and the matter involved is 302 of I.P.C., which require some time for investigation.

4. In view of the above submission, the respondent police is hereby directed to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Petition is allowed. NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No 18.04.2023 Ls 2/4
