Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner's Association dated 27.03.2014, 19.06.2014 and 27.06.2014 and increase grade pay of senior Bailiffs to Rs.2800 from Rs.2400 and pass appropriate orders within the time limit fixed by this Court.

(Order of this Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) The relief sought for in this Writ petition is only to consider the representations dated 27.03.2014, 19.06.2014 and 27.06.2014 made by the petitioners' Association.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent. 3.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, as per G.O.Ms.No.956 Home (Courts - V) Department, dated 08.11.2013 the petitioners are entitled to get higher pay scale and in this regard, the petitioners sent representations to the first respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Since the scope of the Writ petition is limited, we find it just and reasonable to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 27.03.2014, 19.06.2014 and 27.06.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2014, 19.06.2014 and 27.06.2014 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
