PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 2 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 05.05.2022 for the offences under Sections 409, 465, 466, 477(A), 468, 471, 472 and 109 IPC r/w Sections 13(2), 13(1)(c), 13(1)(a) and 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act 2018, in Cr.No.2 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the officials of revenue includes the petitioner, without proper applications and procedure, have transferred the lands in question in favour of the private persons, more particularly relatives of the Government officials. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
CRL OP(MD). No.9225 of 2022 offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police objected for grant of bail on the ground that the lands in dispute belong to Government poramboke have transferred in favour of the petitioner's wife and again, in the favour of the third parties. The petitioner misused his Government job and transferred the lands to private persons, more particularly, his family members.
5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
