ORDER

The writ petition had been filed in the nature of mandamus, seeking a direction against the respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District, to issue death certificates for parents of the petitioner herein. The petitioner had given a representation on 07.03.2023. 2.On the basis of that particular representation, the respondent had issued a notice on 26.05.2022 in Ou.Mu.A3/2457/2022, calling upon the petitioner to produce several documents. The learned counsel for the petitioner had stated that those documents have been produced before the respondent on 21.06.2022.

3.An obligation is placed on the respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District to pass necessary orders on the representation given by the petitioner herein and issue death certificates for parents of the petitioner, in accordance with the rules and regulations. The entire exercise should be completed on or before 31.05.2023. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed. No costs.
